A little everyday care helps keep your Famiware pieces looking beautiful, meal after meal.

1. Clean Gently
   Use a mild detergent and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid steel wool and abrasive cleaners that may damage the glazed finish.
2. Dry Before Storing
   Let each piece dry completely before putting it away, paying extra attention to the unglazed base where moisture can linger.
3. Stack with Care
   Place pieces gently on top of one another. For extra protection, use a soft liner between plates and avoid overcrowding your shelves.
4. Avoid Sudden Temperature Changes
   Allow refrigerated dinnerware to come closer to room temperature before reheating. Never place a hot piece directly into cold water or onto a cold, wet surface.
5. Follow Product-Specific Instructions
   Check your set’s care instructions before using a microwave or dishwasher. Microwave-safe does not mean oven-safe or suitable for stovetop use.
6. Load the Dishwasher Thoughtfully
   For dishwasher-safe pieces, leave enough space between items to prevent contact during the wash cycle, and avoid forcing them between rack tines.
7. Check for Damage
   Inspect your dinnerware regularly. Stop using pieces with chips or cracks, as damaged edges can be sharp and harder to clean thoroughly.
